Jean Rutherford Wall, MS

I believe I entered Fall of 1981. (not sure) I started taking classes fall of 1981 but was officially admitted to the program spring of 1982.  After graduating, I took a job as an admission counselor at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont. Eventually I became the Director of Admissions and then for two years I was  the Director of Financial Aid.  After a wonderful tenure there, my family and I moved to Tampa, Florida. My first job in Tampa was working in Student Services at the University of South Florida as the merit scholarship coordinator.  After one year, I moved to the secondary side of education and for the past seven years I have been the Director of College Counseling at Tampa Preparatory School.  Whether it has been admitting students to college or assisting students with their college search, many of the things I learned in my program at CSULB have been helpful.  Most importantly, the ability to synthesize, to analyze and to think have been most beneficial.
