Scott Godfrey is a native of New Jersey. After high school he opted for a career as a rock 'n roller. His band, Heavy Into Jeff, toured the United States and enabled Scott to see much of the country and to eat fast food in cities of which most of us have never heard. Mr. Godfrey graduated from CSULB in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. At the present time, Mr. Godfrey is pursuing a master’s degree in political science at CSULB. This is his first year as a moot court assistant coach.Mr. Godfrey, however, has assisted with past moot court classes as well as with the preparation for the 2007 Western Regional. Mr.Godfrey has attended several constitutional law classes and, although his days on stage with a bass singing before live audiences may be behind him, he has a keen eye for and sense of what makes a good public performace. He is excited about his role as assistant coach and is eager to assist students to develop and perfect their arguments as well as their public speaking.
