The Special Concentration option allows students to design their own program around a particular focus. Examples of special concentrations include:
- Teaching Chinese
- Teaching Japanese
- Teaching Spanish
Students electing Special Concentration must:
1) consult with the Graduate Advisor about a special concentration they wish to pursue;
2) submit a written justification for their proposed special concentration, including
3) a list of classes which are proposed to meet the objectives of this special concentration. Both the written justification and the course list are subject to approval.
Program requirements are summarized in the Catalog.
