The Department of Journalism's Fall 09 Journalism and Public Relations Careers Day will happen on October 21, Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the USU Ballrooms (Student Union, 2nd floor). This event is free, and all students, alumni and recent graduates are invited to attend. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Journalism, public relations, and other mass media-related companies, agencies and organizations are invited to pre-register for this event. Registration is free, and all registered recruiters will host a table during the job fair, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Recruiters will be able to interview candidates and publicize jobs and internships.
If you're interested in participating as a recruiter, please e-mail the completed Recruiter Registration Form (below) to Ms. Teri Legault (tlegault@csulb.edu). You may also bring it to the Journalism office (SSPA-024), or fax it to (562) 985-5300 (Attn.: Teri Legault).
