About our internship class requirement
As part of our program, every Journalism & Mass Communication major has to complete an internship before receiving their degree. We believe internships are a crucial step – even more nowadays – in a Journalism & Mass Communication student’s education, and have proven to facility a student’s entry in the job market.
The internship is closely monitored by the department, through the Internship class (JOUR 498) for which students signed up and its professor, to ensure that students are getting a fulfilling, enriching and professional experience during their internship.
- J498 Syllabus
- J498 Internship Application Form
- J498 Internship Contract
- J498 Employer Letter
- J498 Performance Assessment Report 60 hours
- J498 Performance Assessment Report 120 hours
For further information on our internship requirement or our internship class, please contact the professor in charge of the class for the semester when you’ll be taking the class. Professor Jennifer Fleming is in charge of the Internship class for the summer 2013.
