About our internship class requirement
As part of our program, every Journalism & Mass Communication major has to complete an internship before receiving their degree. We believe internships are a crucial step – even more nowadays – in a Journalism & Mass Communication student’s education, and have proven to facility a student’s entry in the job market.
The internship is closely monitored by the department, through the Internship class (JOUR 498) for which students signed up and its professor, to ensure that students are getting a fulfilling, enriching and professional experience during their internship.
