Nathan Gonzalez is a political scientist specializing on Iran. He has published two books, The Sunni-Shia Conflict: Understanding Sectarian Violence in the Middle East and Engaging Iran: The Rise of a Middle East Powerhouse and America’s Strategic Choice. He has served as a Fellow of the Truman National Security Project. He began teaching at CSULB in both Political Science and International Studies in 2010-11 and has a near instant following of students.
