Advising for Human Development majors (and potential majors) is done in PSY 205, the Human Development Main Office.
You can read the description of the department in the course catalog or make an appointment to discuss the department curriculum with the undergraduate advisor.
In order to declare Human Development your major or minor, you need to make an appointment with the undergraduate advisor to fill out a form for declaring your major. You then take this form to Enrollment Services.
There is a sign-up sheet hanging outside the door of the Human Development Office, PSY 205. The sign up sheet has 15 minute appointment periods that you can sign up for.
You will see a list of possible jobs in the department description of the course catalog and on this website. You can also meet with the Department of Human Development undergraduate advisor or an advisor in the Career Development Center to discuss career possibilities in person.
You can check your degree progress using MyCSULB or you can make an appointment with the undergraduate advisor. You can also check to see whether you have met all your general education requirements by looking at your unofficial transcript or by making an appointment with Academic Advising. If you think you are getting close to graduation (within two semesters) you need to file to graduate (see below).
