Geography focuses on the spatial organization of human and physical landscapes, the interactions between human society and the physical environment, as well as on the meanings that people bring to their place in the world. Georaphy sits at the nexus of the social and physical sciences, drawing from a range of theortical and methodological approaches for understanding the world around us. The Geography minor requires a minimum of 18 UNITS, as follows:
Required Core (9 UNITS): GEOG 100 or 120 or 160; GEOG 130 or 140; GEOG 280 or 380
Upper Division Minimum Requirements (9 UNITS selected with advisor): at least one Geography course at the 400 level (3-4 UNITS); at least two other Geography courses at the 300 or 400 level (6-8 UNITS)
