Last field day/last full day

June 30, 2012.  About yesterday and today.

Yesterday was the last day that I’ll go out into the field and into the NTBG center in the foreseeable future.  Going out into the field was great, I walked into areas that I haven’t been to and enjoyed it by myself.  In the NTBG center I started to look up ways in which I can mask out built up areas from my study area and Briton suggested to me that I should open up my study area if I’m going to do some masking so that there can be more area to look at.  After I delicious lunch of Quinoa and chicken we went to the last lecture here in which Terry Hunt went over some of the archeaology of Hawaii, it was real interesting.

Today I’m just going to pack and head to the beach for a goodbye bbq.  Time to head home.
