GRAM (Geospatial Research & Mapping) in Hawaii

Posted on June 13, 2013

Our NSF-funded REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) – Geospatial Research and Mapping (GRAM) has begun GRAM@BEACH. We will be conducting an intense four-week field program with these fantastic students who have traveled here from various parts of the US. This week we are working and training on campus.  We are on location in Oahu for three weeks – June 8th through June 30th. We have an excellent support team of graduate assistants including Paul Nesbit, Briton Voorhees and Scott Winslow. Mike Ferris will also be joining us in the field as will two geology graduate students.

You can keep tabs on our program daily via the 2013 student’s daily blogs (bottom left of web page) – http://www.csulb.edu/colleges/cla/departments/geography/nsf-reu/ Happy Summer!
