Tenure-Track Position in GIS

Department of Geography invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position with a specialty in Geographic Information Science (GISc) with research specialization in urban applications beginning August 2013. We seek to fill this position at the Assistant Professor level; salary is dependent upon the appointee’s qualifications and experience. Ph.D. in Geography or closely related discipline with a specialization in GISc required at time of appointment. Research specialization in urban GISc with skills in GIS programming and database development and management preferred. Demonstrated or potential ability for effective teaching in our Master of Science in GISc program a plus.

The Geography Department is leaving our old home in LA4-106 and moving to PH1-210! Due to our limited access to email and phones during the moving process, we will be unavailable from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16th until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22nd.
