Geography Student Andrew Carnes Receives National Leadership Award From Pi Kappa Phi

Professor Laris Awarded $250,000 Grant to Study Brush Fires in Mali

Alumnus Dr. James Tyner awarded for Outstanding Research and Scholarship

Congratulations Elizabeth Weaver who will teach Geography at West Point!!

Elizabeth Weaver will begin a two year prestigious assignment at the military
academy at West Point to teach in their Geography department!
As you may recall, she was possibly our fastest ever completion, joining
us in Sept 2008 and submitting her thesis “IT’S LIKE FIGHTING THE ENEMY”:
CARE FOR RURAL VETERANS WITH POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER in Dec 2009.
