Oliver Brearey (MA 07) entered the Ph.D. in English program at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, in fall 2010. His concentration is Rhetoric and Textual Studies.
Kristen-Paige Madonia (MFA 05) published her debut novel Fingerprints of You (Simon & Schuster) in 2012. She was named the 2012 D. H. Lawrence Fellow, and her short fiction has appeared in such publications as Upstreet, New Orleans Review, American Fiction: Best Previously Unpublished Short Stories by Emerging Writers, Sycamore Review, and Inkwell. She currently lives in Charlottesville, VA where she teaches creative writing and is at work on her second novel.
Christian Overfield (BA 97, MA 01) is finishing his law degree at Loyola Marymount University and will take the Bar Exam in July 2013.
Dan Peterman (MA 07) is in his 4th year in the Ph.D. program for Rhetoric and Professional Communication at New Mexico State University. He is teaching a course for Creative Media Institute majors on Cultural Identity and Representations Across the Media as well as helping run the English department’s Document Design Center.
Chad Tsuyuki (BA 03, MFA 06) is in his second year of a tenure-track position at MiraCosta College in Oceanside. He teaches courses in composition, critical thinking, and appreciation of literature.
Beth Wilson (BA 09) is currently in Busan, Korea, preparing to teach for the English Program in Korea (EPIK).
