Admission to the major undergraduate programs in economics is contingent on undergraduate advisor approval. Students wishing to declare an economics major may do so by meeting with the undergraduate advisor. Students wishing to declare may either stop by the advisor's walk-in hours, or e-mail to set up an appointment. This form must be filled out when meeting with the advisor and returned to department office staff (SSPA 361A) for processing.
To declare a minor in economics, students must fill out this form and turn in to department office staff (SSPA 361A). A meeting with the undergraduate advisor is not necessary to declare a minor in economics.
(Note: The catalog year that applies to you is the year you declared the economics major. To be sure, consult your transcript or your degree progress report at my.csulb.edu.)
