AWARD-WINNING STUDENTS FOR 2012-2013
ECONOMICS MAJORS ON THE PRESIDENT’S AND DEAN’S LIST
Students are named to the President’s List when they earn a GPA of 3.75 or above for the semester. Students are named to the Dean’s List if they receive a GPA of 3.50 to 3.75 for the semester. OMICRON DELTA EPSILON
Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) is the International Honor Society in Economics. To qualify for membership, applicants must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and an interest in economics. Students do not necessarily have to be economics majors, but they must have completed at least 12 units in economics with a “B” average or better. There is an initiation fee which entitles the student to a membership scroll and a one-year subscription to The American Economist, the journal put out by ODE. Information and applications for membership are available in the department office.
