Master of Arts in Economics

As business becomes increasingly quantitative, students need strong analytical and empirical skills to compete in the marketplace.  The Master of Arts in Economics at CSULB provides students with the skills they need to succeed in positions in the public or private sector and gives a solid foundation for students who will pursue a doctorate degree.

"The CSULB Economics MA program helped me tremendously to tie together the theory, logic and practice of business and decision-making generally around a comprehensible foundation with broad applications. This approach transcends academics and commerce to calibrate cost-benefit analysis and identify opportunity costs wherever they may occur."
