Graduate Programs
The Economics Department offers two graduate programs: the MA in Economics and the MA in Global Logistics Accelerated Program.
“Having a graduate degree in economics from CSULB has helped me in many ways, sometimes in a nontraditional career choice such as software engineering. In addition to being able to engage in more thoughtful discussions at business meetings and economic conferences, I was able to apply what I learned to the development of our company’s software solution for nonprofits involving program tracking and evaluation.”

The Master of Arts in Economics at CSULB provides students with the skills they need to succeed in positions in the public or private sector and gives a solid foundation for students who will pursue a doctorate degree.
Master of Arts in Global Logistics Accelerated Program (MAGL-AP)
