Visiting Authors at CSULB this Spring

CWL will be hosting visiting authors, artists, and translators this spring:

  • Eliza Frye, artist and author of the graphic short fiction collection, Regalia (speaking in CWL 161 and CWL 452/552)
  • Ito Hiromi, award-winning poet and author of over a dozen major volumes in Japanese, including Killing Kanoko (translated by Jeffrey Angles) (speaking in CWL 452/552 and at an event in the Anatol Center 4/30 with Dr. Angles on post-3/11 poetry in Japan)
  • Dr. Jeffrey Angles, scholar, translator and poet (speaking in CWL 452/552 and with Ms. Ito at the 4/30 event on his forthcoming anthology of poems he has translated from the Japanese on post-3/11 poetry)
  • Krassi Zourkova, author of the forthcoming novel The Wildalone (due out from Harper/William Morrow this summer!) (speaking in CWL 452/552)
