Prof. Jordan Smith will present a paper and speak on the plenary panel at the Japan Arts and Globalizations Multi-campus Research Group at UC Irvine on February 2, 2014. The talk is titled “Polyphony, Palimpsest, and 3/11: Transnationalism in the Poetry and Photography of Yoshimasu Gōzō,” and builds on Prof. Smith’s translations of Yoshimasu’s poetry.
