Prof. Jordan Smith’s work in translation theory and the poetry of Yoshimasu Gozo, presented at the American Literary Translators Association’s annual conference at the University of Indiana, Bloomington, has been featured in an article on the University of Rochester’s Three Percent weblog.

Prof. Smith’s translations of Yoshimasu’s poetry have been published in the British journal Poetry Review and will be included in a forthcoming anthology edited by Forrest Gander, titled Alice Iris Red Horse: Selected Poems of Gozo Yoshimasu: a Book in and on Translation, along with translator’s introductions.
