Submission Guidelines for Genre

Submissions, double-spaced and preferably between 2,500 and 4,000 words, should be sent electronically by Word attachment to the Genre Editor at csulbgenre@gmail.com.

All submissions should include a cover letter indicating institutional affiliation, paper title and your full mailing address.

Please do not include your name on the essay itself as it will be reviewed by a blind peer-review panel.

Please include a 200-word abstract to be published along with your paper.

Submissions should follow the format described in the MLA Style Manual, 2nd ed., with internal citations and a Works Cited page at the end. Endnotes should be used sparingly, for explanatory purposes only.
