CWL Students to Present at Popular/American Culture Association Conference

Several current and former CWL majors will be presenting papers at the upcoming Southwest Popular/American Culture Association conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in late February 2014.

  • Current senior and CWL major Kristine Andersen will present a paper titled “Dante, Virgil, and Michael Bluth: The Structural Similarities in ‘Purgatory’ and ‘Arrested Development’”
  • Current senior and CWL major Allison Arcos will present a paper titled, “The Literary Litmus Test: Defining Quality in Food Blogs and Internet Culture”
  • CWL graduate and current English MA student Amy Desuza will present a paper titled, “Rumpelstiltskin: From Marginal Villain to Complex Character”
