Theresa Freet began her professional career at CSULB as a Spanish major and upon graduation in 2008, Theresa worked as an English Teaching Assistant for a year at the Universidad de La Salle in Colombia under a Fulbright Grant. Theresa has several passions and her career path has certainly reflected a variety of those interests as she transitioned from working in an educational setting as an Assistant Language Teacher for the Saikai City Board of Education in Japan to working in the food industry as a Baker for Bien Cuit in Brooklyn, New York. Combining her passion for education and food, Theresa now works in two positions that offer the best of both worlds. Working for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, an organization that teaches nutrition theory and business, Theresa takes on the role of Curriculum Coordinator. Theresa also works as a Project Partnership Manager for CodeMontage, a company of coders who use their technological skills to improve social issues and help non-profits organization, in which she serves as a Food Activist & Partnerships Liaison for the company. Theresa has proven that pursuing a variety of interests in a career is possible, and she is able to continue those interests today on a professional level.
