CSULB Learning Alliance

Welcome to the Learning Alliance, the College of Liberal Art’s premiere learning community! This fall marks our 20th year of serving and cultivating students at Cal State Long Beach. Committed to the academic, personal, and professional success of our students, the Learning Alliance provides a venue for undergraduates to explore academic options, connect with one another, and receive the tools and support they need to thrive at Cal State Long Beach and beyond.

Traveling as a cohort between linked courses, students are acclimated to the university with the guidance of professional staff, peer mentors, and exceptional faculty members. In addition, students have the option of participating in C/LA 195, an innovative freshman seminar course designed to facilitate a smooth transition into the university as they find their unique place and pursue their passions at Cal State Long Beach.

As a part of the ATLAS (Advising Teaching Liberal Arts Students) Network, the Learning Alliance acts as the home base for all College of Liberal Arts students. We offer a safe place where students can bring their advising questions and concerns and receive individualized support from our team of experienced advisors and staff.

Your success matters to us at the Learning Alliance.
