
Dr. Ketra L. Armstrong received Sport Marketing Quarterly's "Outstanding Research Award" for an article she co-authored with Dr. Mauricio Ferreira (of Texas A &M University). The article was featured in Volume 13, No. 4 issue of the 2004 Sport Marketing Quarterly. The research presented in the article employed a conjoint analysis technique to examine the salience of sport event attributes on consumers' decision making process. The award was presented to Dr. Armstrong and Ferreira at the Awards Banquet at the Annual Sport Marketing Association Conference, which was held last month (November) in Tempe, AZ.
