
Everett L. Glenn is CEO and President of Entertainment & Sports Plus, a Southern California-based athlete and entertainer management firm with offices in Atlanta, Philadelphia and Cleveland, Ohio. ESP represents professional athletes and entertainers in contract negotiations and provides advice on accounting, banking, endorsement, financial, marketing, public relations and personal development matters for its clients.
A member of the State Bar of California since 1979, Mr. Glenn also serves in an Of Counsel capacity with the law firm of Adorno Yoss Alvarado & Smith, the largest certified minority law firm in the country with over 200 attorneys operating from 10 locations including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York and Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Glenn received his B.A. from Oberlin College in 1974 and his J.D. from Case-Western Reserve University in 1977, where he concentrated his studies on business organizations and commercial transactions.
Mr. Glenn served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Long Beach from 1996-2006. As a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Long Beach, Mr. Glenn represented the Long Beach Airport and the Port of Long Beach on all real estate development and land use matters; the Technology Services Department on all telecommunications matters including cable television; and the Housing Services Bureau on the acquisition, rehabilitation and construction of over $100 million in affordable housing projects. Prior to joining the City of Long Beach, Mr. Glenn served as Senior Attorney in the Asset Management and Disposition section of the Resolution Trust Corporation, and provided advice to outside asset management firms on all matters relating to the management and disposition of over $560 billion in assets of failed S&L's. Mr. Glenn began his legal career in San Francisco with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, one of the 50 largest law firms in the country.
Mr. Glenn is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Ohio. Mr. Glenn is a NFL and NBA certified contract advisor and has represented over 30 professional athletes in contract negotiations and related business and personal matters including, but not limited to, Gill Byrd, Richard Dent, Willie Gault, Clark Kellogg, Jerry Rice and John L. Williams.
