Cindy Jarvis graduated from California State University, Long Beach with two degrees. The first degree was a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology specializing in Elementary Education. The second degree was a Masters degree in our very own program in Sport Management. She spent 9 years working as a children and adult sports coordinator for the City of Norwalk. With basketball as her first love, she developed the first women’s basketball league in the City of Norwalk and gave many women an opportunity to play in an organized league. She also was the Director of Community Relations for the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA.
Cindy also spent many years working in community centers helping to increase community involvement in sports and recreation. In addition, she has lent her expertise to several sports companies.
