On December 7th, during the LifeFit Center's first holiday party, LFC Program Coordinator gave a lecture on "How to Stay Healthy Over the Holidays." This great lecture received a huge crowd and was actually given twice by Heather due to all the members who came by. In Heather's lecture she gave 10 simple steps that everyone could use in order to stay healthy over the upcoming holidays and amazing food journey's we will all go on.
On November 16th at 1:30pm, the LifeFit Center proudly hosted its first educational lecture in the Roger F. Greaves Learning Center. "The Power of Plants" was hosted by Ann Coccagnia. Ann is a Vegan Consultant and the founder of The Vegan Depot, which you can find at the Los Alamitos Farmer's Market on Sundays. Ann showed all in attendance how to upgrade their nutrition and add variety to their food choices in a 1 hour seminar. Ann also provied food samples and pamphlets.
