“It takes a Village: Vibrant Aging-in-Place Communities"

The Village concept is a visionary solution to assist us to stay in our own homes and neighborhoods with good quality of life as we age. Villages are membership driven, grassroots organizations based on the needs of a community. A village coordinates and delivers a variety of services and programs to support health and wellness; home repair, safety and transportation needs; and social and educational activities that make life meaningful for individuals and family caregivers.

The Village model is now being developed in more than 70 locations throughout the United States and globally.
