Formerly on the faculty of Arizona State University West and an employee of the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Offices, Dr. Lee has extensive teaching and practice experience including successful advocacy for legislation in Arizona in the area of divorce, separation and domestic violence as well as child welfare experience. Dr. Lee has been employed with CSULB for the past 7 years. Dr. Lee has published numerous articles in the area of policy/practice change regarding family preservation, divorced and never-married parents and children, group work, older adults, mentoring, and distance education. She has received research grants from Los Angeles County Department of Family and Children’s Services and Redondo Beach California Unified School District (RBUSD). She teaches Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Group Work, and Thesis Avising. Dr. Lee has received most valuable professor awards from the College of Health and Human Services and Disabled Student Services. She is on the International Board of the Association of Social Work and Groups (AASWG) and also on the Executive Board of the Department’s journal Reflections. She is also serving as an Academic Senator. Dr. Lee enjoys being a mentor for first generation college students and others in formal and informal mentoring programs and is also completing research in this arena.
