Michael C. Walker, MA, LMFT, is a trainer and consultant for the Child Welfare Training Centre, California State University Long Beach (CSULB). He is recently retired after 38 years with the Los Angeles county Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), most recently as an Assistant Regional Administrator where he managed line workers and supervisors. Mr. Walker is experienced in curricula development and training delivery; he is a certified trainer in SDM and TDM and has trained workers, supervisors and managers on implementation of both models. Mr. Walker has presented training throughout California and several other states and has made presentations at several national conferences.
