Background

Inna Lisker is a lecturer in Professional Studies in the College of Health and Human Services at California State University, Long Beach. She teaches interdisciplinary courses in Technological Literacy, Technology and Ethics, and Working Around the World . She is in the final process of the comprehensive examination in her PhD program in Adult Education with Capella University in Minnesota. She earned her Executive MBA from University of California, Irvine in 2000 and her BS in Psychology from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1995.Before joining the CSULB Department of Occupational Studies, Mrs. Lisker held various administrative and executive positions in private and public postsecondary education industry. Throughout the years, she has developed her expertise in many aspects of an educational organization. She successfully played leadership roles as a VP of marketing, Executive Director, and VP of Operations with nation-wide and international educational corporations. She has accumulated extensive experience working with culturally diverse students and staff and with the students and individuals from socio-economically disadvantaged groups and communities.

Prior to her appointment as a lecturer, Mrs. Lisker taught face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in global business strategies, marketing, and organizational culture for University of Phoenix, Southern California Campus. Her most recent experience as an Administrator and Program Developer for Distance Learning with CSULB University College and Extension Services has advanced her knowledge of educational technologies in teaching and learning of adults. Overall, she has ten years of experience with online education and learning. She is currently teaching and developing online courses for the CSULB Department of Professional Studies.
