CSULB Coursework

Upon acceptance into the program, graduate students are considered conditionally classified students and complete the CSULB coursework with either a grade of "B" or better in each course or an overall average of 3.0 or better in all coursework within a year and maintain an overall GPA in graduate school of at least 3.0 to automatically advance to the professional program as unconditionally classified students.

* courses are offered at CSULB.

HHS 402 has a prerequisite of at least a B in HHS 401. HHS 403 and HHS 460 have prerequisites of B or better in HHS 401 and BIOL 341.

Students who are undergraduates at CSULB may take some courses to complete requirements for some undergraduate degrees. For example, Biology, Physiology Option allows substitution of nearly all courses as requirements for the degree and Kinesiology, Exercise Science Option allows most courses as electives. Undergraduates should also earn either a "B" in each course or a B average in all courses attempted.

Students who have a Bachelors Degree and want to take these *courses before applying to the program may take these courses through the College of Continuing and Professional Education, space permitting after all accepted students have registered.
