We are glad you have come to learn more about Sigma Theta Tau, Iota Eta chapter. Take a look around, discover who we are and how we can work together to promote nursing. We are focusing as a chapter on the themes of Leadership, Scholarship and Research. These themes are inspired by the goals of Sigma Theta Tau International, and encompass what we aim to promote locally. Our activities for the year pursue these themes through dialogue and exploration.
The Iota Eta chapter is a part of Sigma Theta Tau lnternational, begun in 1986 and sponsored by the CSULB nursing department.
A Mission to Serve, Support and Improve: Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing provides leadership and scholarship in nursing practice, education and research to enhance the health of all people. We support the learning and professional development of our members, who strive to improve nursing care worldwide.
