Scholarly and Creative Interests:
My scholarly and creative interests are as follows: metabolic acidosis during exercise, pulmonary gas exchange during exercise, reference limits for lactate threshold and maximal oxygen uptake, and sex differences in pulmonary function for children and adults.

Service Activities:
Director of Air Power Games, an annual track and field meet for 5-14 year old children with asthma.
Director of Body Fat Testing Program, a fee-for-service program for persons on the CSULB campus and for persons in the Long Beach and surrounding communities.
