My primary research interests are in the area of educational technology applications in physical education and sport. I am interested in examining the potential of educational technology applications in the field of physical education teacher education, that will allow prospective and practicing teachers, to more effectively teach, manage, and organize their classes.

I am the department coordinator for the international exchange program with the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. This program has been in existence since 1984 and I have been the coordinator since 1996. At the University level I’m the chair of the Education Abroad Sub-Committee and serve as an adjunct member of the International Education Committee (IEC).
At CSULB I’ve been the CSULB Head Rugby Coach since 2001. I have served as the Southern California Rugby Union University Division Representative since 1996.
I am currently the Vice-President Elect for the CAHPERD’s Boys and Men’s Athletics division.
Additionally I am one of the reviewers of Physical Education Teacher Education programs for both the California Commission on Teacher Credentials (CTC) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
