BOC Certification Examination Eligibility

Athletic training students must meet the following criteria in order to become eligible to take the BOC Certification Exam for the athletic trainer examination administered by the BOC. 

  1. Successful completion of the Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree requirements.
  2. Successful completion of ATEP 490A, and ATEP 490B, and ATEP 490C, and ATEP 490D.
  3. Satisfy all Department and University graduation requirements.
  4. Approved by ATEP Program Director.
