CSULB is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the agency responsible for granting regional accreditation to colleges and universities in California, Hawaii, and Guam. It is accredited by the California State Board of Education and is on the list of approved institutions of the American Association of University Women. Additional information convening University accreditation may be obtained from the Office of Academic Affairs.
The CSULB ATEP has been accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Athletic Training Education (CAATE) through academic years 2011-2020. Next comprehensive review will occur in academic year 2020-2021.
