The Children's Center Staff are early childhood specialists. Teachers hold B.A degrees in Child Development or Human Development and Children's Center Permits from the State of California Commission on Teacher credentialing. Other volunteers include college students who are completing their required fieldwork class of 90 hours and are studying child care. The adult to child ratio is 1:6 for toddlers, and 1:8 for pre-school children.
