Dr. Hails researches and teaches on legal issues in criminal justice. Her focus is on the policy analysis implications of U.S. Supreme Court decisions in the area of constitutional criminal procedure. Dr. Hail's secondary area of expertise is in the law of criminal evidence.
Dr. Hails has semi-retired on the CSU Faculty Early Retirement Program (FERP). While FERPing, Dr. Hails will not be on-campus in the fall semesters. She does, however, teach in the spring semesters.
