Criminal Justice Student Association

Become a member of one of the largest and best-respected student organization at CSULB -- the Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA). CJSA has been named University Organization of the Year four times in the last six years and College of Health and Human Services Organization of the Year six years in a row. This award-winning organization is heavily involved in student activities and community service events. While there are no requirements, CJSA does ask for $35 dues. Upon payment, you will receive a CJSA t-shirt and coffee mug. For more information, contact the Dr. Harvey Morley, the faculty advisor to the CJSA.

Alpha Phi Sigma – The National Criminal Justice Honor Society

Alpha Phi Sigma

Alpha Phi Sigma is the nationally recognized honor society for students in the criminal justice sciences. The society recognizes academic excellence by undergraduates as well as graduate students of criminal justice.

Requirements to Join

  • 3.2 Criminal Justice GPA
  • 3.2 Overall GPA
  • 3.4 GPA for graduate students
  • 12 units in progress or completed in Criminal Justice
  • Complete a membership application
  • One time membership fee of $45

You can access the online application by via APS Membership Application.  Please turn your applications into Dr. Brenda Vogel, APS Faculty Advisor, in SPA 238, along with your $45 membership dues (cash or check).
