Making an Appointment to See the Director of the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Emergency Managment

Do you need to see Dr. Vogel? As the Director of the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Emergency Managment, you may need to see Dr. Vogel to:

  • enroll in a criminal justice class though open university;
  • have prerequisites waived;
  • drop a course after the unrestricted withdrawal deadline;
  • substitute a course taken at another university for one required in the criminal justice major, minor, or master's program;
  • be reinstated in the university;
  • problem-solve a grade dispute or other problem in a criminal justice course or with a criminal justice instructor; or
  • obtain advising on a host of issues.

Regardless of why you may need to see the School Director, it is not a good idea to "drop by" without an appointment. Dr. Vogel's schedule is quite hectic. She is rarely in her office and available to see people without an appointment. So, be sure to email Dr. Vogel at Brenda.Vogel@csulb.edu to set-up an appointment when you need to see her.
