Making an Appointment to See the Department Chair

Do you need to see Dr. Fradella? As the chairperson of the Department of Criminal Justice, you may need to see Dr. Fradella to:

  • enroll in a criminal justice class though open university;
  • have prerequisites waived;
  • drop a course after the unrestricted withdrawal deadline;
  • substitute a course taken at another university for one required in the criminal justice major, minor, or master's program;
  • get an educational leave authorized;
  • be reinstated in the university;
  • problem-solve a grade dispute or other problem in a criminal justice course or with a criminal justice instructor; or
  • obtain advising on a host of issues.

Regardless of why you may need to see the Department Chair, it is not a good idea to "drop by" without an appointment. Dr. Fradella's schedule is quite hectic. He is rarely in his office and available to see people without an appointment. So, be sure to email Dr. Fradella at hfradell@csulb.edu to set-up an appointment when you need to see him.
