Unauthorized Withdrawals (WU)
- If you do not officially withdraw from a course and fail to complete course requirements, you will receive a "WU," or an unauthorized withdrawal.
Medical Withdrawals (WE)
- Students who are seriously ill or injured and need to withdraw from CSULB may request a medical withdrawal.
- Medical Withdrawal Petition
Withdrawals for Extenuating Circumstances (WE)
- Students may request a withdrawal based on extenuating circumstances that are not medically related.
- Complete both pages of the Withdrawal Petition to request a withdrawal for extenuating circumstances.
