We are pleased that CSULB is your university of choice and that you have chosen a major within the College of Health and Human Services. We wish you the best of luck in applying to CSULB.
Many prospective students are interested in meeting with an advisor prior to admittance to the university to discuss admissions and major requirements. The most common questions that prospective students ask are regarding admissions, transcript evaluations, and major requirements. Please keep in mind that our advisors are unable to evaluate any transcripts or answer admissions questions. Additionally, all CHHS departments post major requirements on the department websites for prospective students to review.
Because we primarily work with current students, we may not be able to adequately address all of your questions and concerns as a prospective student. Since we may not be the best point of contact for you, we encourage you to review the following websites, as we are confident that the information will assist you in answering any questions you may have regarding admissions, transferring courses to CSULB, and major requirements.
For your benefit, we have also provided you with several links and telephone numbers for important departments on campus that you may need to contact.
Good luck!
