Nursing Building Groundbreaking

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 CHHS and the School of Nursing conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of the new School of Nursing Building. The groundbreaking ceremony celebrated the beginning of the new $5 million building addition which will house a computer lab, three classroom labs, and five faculty offices. Read more

Special Sessions Degree Programs Accepting Application

The College of Health and Human Services offers several academic programs through the College of Continuing and Professional Education.  These programs are accepting admissions for Spring 2010 and beyond.  These programs are funded through self-support and therefore are not subject to the California State University system-wide admissions closure for winter/spring 2010. Cal State Long Beach Awarded $1.87 Million Grant from State Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation
A team of four faculty members from the Criminal Justice Department at CSULB has been awarded a four-year, $1.87 million grant by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to evaluate residential substance abuse aftercare following release from prison. More
