City Leadership Program

City Leadership Students at Long Beach City Hall

The City Leadership Program based in the College of Business Administration Student Center for Professional Development is a curriculum based year-long program that highlights and explores the economic, political, community, and governmental resources and organizations within the City of Long Beach.  The program is a collaborative endeavor of city governmental agencies and bureaus including the Port of Long Beach, the City of Long Beach Mayor’s Office, the Neighborhood Services Bureau and the City Manager’s Office.

Application Requirements

  1. Be full-time Cal State Long Beach student (open to all majors)
  2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
  3. Complete a minimum of 60 units
