Sichuan Derui Business Scholarship

Amount/Award: $5,000 - renewable in the spring semester (two available)

Criteria:

  1. Must be a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major at CSULB.
  2. Must be a graduate of one of the following schools, located in the City of Chengdu, Province of Sichuan, People’s Republic of China:
    • Chengdu Foreign Languages School (CDFLS)
    • Chengdu Experimental Foreign Languages School (CDEFLS)
    • Chengdu Experimental Foreign Languages School West Campus(CDEFLSWC)
  3. Must have the equivalent of a U.S. high school grade point average of at least a B+ or 3.3 (on a 4-point scale) if a newly admitted first–time freshman at CSULB.  If the student is of sophomore class standing or beyond at CSULB, he or she must have a grade point average of at least a “B” or 3.0 (on a 4-point scale).

Please submit the following documents to the Center for Scholarship Information (USU-238) in addition to completing the online application form:

  1. An essay of no more than five(5) pages describing his or her career goals, providing examples of demonstrated leadership potential or community service, and explaining how the Sichuan Derui Business Scholarship will help him or her achieve his or her goals.
  2. Official high school diploma/certificate for freshman applicants
  3. Official high school diploma/certificate and unofficial college transcripts for sophomore, junior and senior level applicants.
