Phoenix Foundation Scholarship
Amount/Award:
- $4,000 (entering MBA or MBA/MFA student)
- $3,000 (entering freshman)
Criteria:
- Must be either a first year student enrolled in the MB A or MBA/MFA program or a freshman undergraduate majoring in business.
- Must be currently enrolled in CSULB.
- Must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.3 (graduate student applicants) or cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 (freshman applicants).
- Financial need will be considered in the selection process. Preference will be given to students not receiving any other scholarship awards, financial aid or grants.
- Preference will be given to students who volunteer in the community or participate in extra-curricular activities (including sports) and who hold leadership roles.
Please submit the following documents to the Center for Scholarship Information (USU-238) in addition to completing the online application form:
- Unofficial transcripts from MyCSULB.
- Official transcript from high school for freshman and undergraduate studies for MBA students. Students that completed their undergraduate degree at CSULB may provide unofficial transcripts.
- A typewritten personal statement describing your volunteer activities, community service projects and/or extracurricular activities(including sports) and any leadership roles you hold(1-2 pages, double-spaced, 12pt font)
- Copy of 2011-2012 Financial Aid Award Summary from MyCSULB.
